-Shannon Dodd will totally entertain you with her dynamic stage presence, personality, and soulful vocals. She has toured as a back-up singer with some of country music’s best including Kenny Rogers and Brenda Lee. She has also toured nationally twice with “The Tennessee Waltz”. Shannon has performed in many shows as a singer/dancer at several theme parks through the years including Opryland, Silver Dollar City, and Dollywood. She has also been featured in many country music videos, print ads, television shows and commercials, as well as the movie “Is There Life Out There” starring Reba McEntire.

Shannon is known for playing the role of Patsy Cline in “Always Patsy Cline” around the country. Which she has always called her dream job! But Shannon says that “getting the chance to sing on the Opry with Roy Acuff introducing me and then sitting right behind me on stage will always be my favorite memory of my career…especially, because Mr. Roy passed away four months later. I’ll never forget that day!”

- Shannon opened for Lee Greenwood in her hometown of Oak Ridge, TN for their Secret City 50th Birthday Celebration before a crowd of 10,000. She’s also known in the area for her generosity in giving back to her community and church through benefit concerts. Shannon was named Miss Knox County 1993 and went on to win the preliminary talent award as well as being names a Top 10 Finalist at the 1993 Miss Tennessee Pageant. She has since then been a local and state executive director of several pageants. And is asked to judge, emcee, and entertain at pageants all over the country.

Shannon is one of the few natural country singers. In the lineage of Patsy, Reba, and Wynonna, she is truly a singer’s singer. But don't let this country girl fool you! She can sing any style! She always throws some of her other influences in her shows...Rock, Pop, Jazz, Broadway...She can sing it all! She gives her audience a high energy stage show, reveals her heartaches and blessings with personal life stories, and through her comedic wit leaves them begging to hear more! Shannon is now writing her own songs with some of Nashville's top songwriters. Yet she is still the girl next door that everybody calls a friend!
